Project Description

Abenezer CarePoint, also known as Abenezer Children’s Home, provides holistic care for orphaned and vulnerable children in the impoverished northern region of Ethiopia.

The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance the quality of education by addressing critical infrastructure needs, particularly by constructing toilets. Local stakeholders, including the community, administrative offices, and the town’s education department, will collaborate with Children HopeChest to oversee and implement this project. Upon completion, all involved parties will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to ensure its success and sustainability

Volunteer and Travel Opportunities

We encourage people to travel and witness the progress and impact of the project in the community. It will also be an opportunity to share experiences between the two communities, in terms of culture, how to do business, etc. We can also facilitate training on different topics to support diverse parts of the community.
