What is a Greater Calling Workshop?
Join a conversation about how you can create a culture of generosity, compassion and shared experience; bring added purpose to the marketplace; show your customers that their dollars are doing good in the world; and make your organization a more attractive place to work.
Wil Crooks is Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Greater Calling. He has three adopted children from Ghana. Wil has been immersed in creating healthy cross-cultural partnerships and development opportunities for over a decade. He believes businesses can increase their bottom line while positively transforming lives when they launch resources, expertise, and purpose into the world. Wil insists that in a purpose-driven economy, relationships are the greatest human asset and there is no higher purpose than to defend the cause of the poor and vulnerable. Everyone wants to be a part of something greater than themselves and the workplace is the perfect place for this to happen.
David is the Strategic Partnership Director at Greater Calling. In his free time, David loves to be outdoors and hanging with his two boys, Jax and Ari, and his wife Kara. He was born and raised in South and Central Asia, where some of his closest friends lived in extreme poverty. Seeing them struggle, David knew he needed to be an advocate for those living in poverty. Today, David has spent more than 11 years working in the international nonprofit sector, where he has built and managed transformative development programs that empower families to release themselves from poverty. He has traveled to more that 103 countries, where he has developed strong cross-cultural competencies and collaborative networks with major businesses, governments, foundations and other nonprofits. He believes that these types of global connections are key, and that by working together we can make real change.
